John "L.J." Pavletic focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation. In the criminal context, L.J. has tried cases in federal court, and briefed and argued before the Seventh Circuit. He represents the firm’s clients in all aspects of grand jury, inspector general, and administrative investigations. In the civil context, L.J. represents the firm’s clients in federal and state court in various matters ranging from federal constitutional claims to partnership disputes and administrative appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pavletic served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joel Flaum in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and to the Honorable Virginia Kendall in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
