Michael focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense and commercial litigation. Mr. Hohenadel recently participated in a six-week health care fraud jury trial in federal court, where he represented the former Chief Operating Officer of a hospital charged with providing illegal kickbacks to doctors in exchange for patient referrals. His civil commercial litigation experience includes representing clients in partnership disputes, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract matters.
Mr. Hohenadel earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he was an editor of the Loyola Law Journal, and participated in the National Moot Court Competition. During law school, Michael served internships with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois and in the Criminal Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. Prior to law school, he worked for two years as a paralegal at the New York District Attorney’s Office in Manhattan.
