Jerel Dawson is a litigator with experience in state and federal courts across the country. In criminal matters, he has represented firm clients in grand jury investigations. In the civil context, he has represented plaintiffs and defendants in matters ranging from breach of contract to antitrust claims and constitutional torts. He also has extensive experience in internal investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Jerel worked as an associate in the Chicago offices of Mayer Brown and Jenner & Block. He also served as Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Affairs in the Office of the Mayor of Chicago.
